A new look for an award winning garden designer
We’ve recently had the privilege of working with award winning garden designer Juliet Sargeant on a new visual identity for her design business. We met Juliet and got an insight into her incredible talent and passion, through our work with The Modern Slavery Garden, so were delighted when she asked us to work on a rebrand for her own business.
The brief was simple: “Unapologetically high-end”. We loved this as it gave a razor sharp focus to the creative process, plus it was a refreshing change to the familiar ‘all things to all people’ trap, which all too many small businesses can fall into. As part of the process, we made suggestions for evolving the business name and also suggested a new website address – these changes will both be introduced as part of the rebrand.
The focal point of the logo is a hand drawn illustration by Juliet’s mother. This was something that was truly personal and precious to Juliet’s, so it seemed fitting to explore incorporating this into the new identity. We reworked and edited the drawing to ensure reliable reproduction, then added a simple, yet beautiful logotype.
We are now working on a new brochure, plus stationery and other printed items. The result will be a brand that truly reflects the exceptional quality, expertise and creativity that you can expect in a garden from Juliet Sargeant.
